Description
Again, an old pic in the late 2010 which is nearly incomplete yet still related to the Seasons series.
The concept of Summer revolves around Middle-Eastern theme, sort of like a mixture between Arabian and India culture. The apperance of Summer itself was inspired by Prince Sohma from Kuroshitsuji, which was at that time, is the only royal Arabian/Indian man reference that I could have. I want to depict him sort of like a smug, powerful and arrogant guy with a few charms of his own. As an extra, he had plentiful of harems of his own...
Summer is quite closely related to Winter because in my original back story for them, the two seasons are like "brothers". However, the term "brother" can be interpreted. either as a formal close friendship/ally or literally a relative on its own.
In contrast to Winter's cold colors, the color scheme for this piece revolves around bright, warm colors and patterns to make it more middle-eastern. Personally, I like the shades on the curtains but hate how the patterns looked - it leaves much to be desired.

Tools: Adobe Photoshop CS3
Hour: 23 Hours
